what's our story?

The Vision for Stony Branch Growers is to provide our customers access to healthy locally grown food that is produced in a highly sustainable manner. We strive to be respectful patrons of our farmland ecosystem. Stony Branch Growers is managed and operated by Alan Brauer Jr, a third generation family farmer.  Alan’s father and grandfather bought their 215-acre dairy farm in 1962 and continued the family’s dairy operation until 1995.  Due to family illness and retirements the farm transitioned into raising hay and row crops.  2013 is the inaugural growing season for Stony Branch Growers!  For the past two years, Alan has been blessed with great growing seasons and strong relationships that have been built through his participation in local farmers' markets.  He couldn't be happier for the opportunity to provide fresh, healthy and locally grown food directly to customers through Stony Branch’s CSA, farmers' market, and farm-to-table.
